Vehicle Description

This wonderful 912E is a three owner car - originally sold new in Washington state and then sold to our client in Medford, Oregon where he owned it for the last 16 years.  After that ownership, the client then traded the car into us for another Porsche and then we retailed the car to its current Pacific Northwest owner - who now has the car on consignment with us.  The second owner, incidentally, was the owner who had converted the car from electronic ignition to the Weber carb set up. 

The paint is original color and interior is original and very clean although the body is not perfect - but great for a daily driver, if you'd like.In all, Porsche produced 27,738 912s worldwide, yet only 2,400 E models were produced for the US and aproximately 500 were configured with a sunroof, like this one!  Also, since the 1976 model was the first 912 to have the galvanized body of the 911, rust is not the factor as with earlier cars.  The original horsepower output of the car with the Bosch fuel injection was 90bhp.  So, with this conversion to the Weber carbs, power has potentially increased by another 10 to 15hp.  Also, the '76 model was the first with the 5 speed transmission standard as opposed to the 4.  

We have many receipts and recent repair / maintenance records from the current owner including the original owner manual.
