1956 Porsche Speedster - Real and documented historical Racer. An opportunity like this may only come your way once.

Today there are just not too many original Porsche Speedsters out there people are now turning into race cars. The collector Speedster market is still strong and inventories are limited at best.

The real world tells us this is a significant historical race and collector car. Pricing aside, the Chassis #82924 has been a racing vehicle since day one and now it is ready to enjoy a long life as a rock star at any historic or PCA event.

Club Carrera is in the process of collecting historical photos and driver information. 1956 Porsche Speedster Race Overview

This car has a current Oregon title (and the original title, too), but has always been campaigned as a race car.

It was purchased in 1957 and has a long history of racing in Conference, SCCA, and recently in vintage events. The car has no excuses. Chassis #82924 has an all-steel body, recently rigorously restored by Emory Motorsports in McMinnville, OR. and the finished product is simply stunning and correct.

The motor is a big-bore, built for torque by Dick Elverud of Cornelius, OR. An Elverud motor is bullet-proof, as 911 racers know, and this one has only two race weekends on it. The gearbox has been re-built by Doug Esterbrook.

The yellow paint is near perfect with only one small scratch on the right front fender. It is as pure a yellow as you will find in nature or otherwise. Chassis #82924

Engine #81125

Racing tonneau is made of aluminum.

Wheels are true Panasports with Hoosier racing tires.
